Essential plugins
Contact forms, SEO, backups, caching and security, and how to avoid plugin overload.
Design and branding
Typography, colour, spacing and mobile layouts that make a small site look professional.

WooCommerce products, shipping, payments (including mobile money options) and order handling.
Launch and handover
Speed checks, Search Console, a launch checklist, client training and maintenance plans.

Do I need to know how to code?
No. WordPress lets you build complete websites without code. We introduce basic HTML and CSS so you can make small tweaks with confidence.
Will I need to pay for hosting?
Not during the course. We provide a practice environment. When you launch your own site you will need a domain and hosting, and we explain how to choose affordable, reliable options.
Can I build sites for clients after the course?
Yes. The final module covers pricing, client briefs, handover and maintenance so you can start freelancing responsibly.
Is WordPress still worth learning?
Yes. WordPress powers a very large share of the world's websites, so businesses and organisations constantly need people who can build and maintain WordPress sites.
Does the course cover online stores?
Yes. Module 7 covers WooCommerce, including products, shipping and payment options.
